PalThink for Strategic Studies has released a youth research paper, entitled “Youth’s Role in Curbing Hate Speech and Reinforcing Moderation” prepared by member of the Democracy and Youth Dialogue Forum Ashraf Sukkar, within the “PalThink Academy for Democracy and Human Rights” project, supported by the German Federal Foreign Office’s funds by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), Funding Programme zivik.
The paper reviewed the legal and conceptual aspects of hate speech and the steps that can be taken to reduce hate speech in Palestinian society, most importantly spreading anti-hate speech and forming youth groups to spread moderation and human rights culture.
