Youth research paper: Palestinian Youth’s Disengagement in Reconciliation Efforts

PalThink for Strategic Studies has issued a youth research paper entitled: “Palestinian Youth’s Disengagement from Reconciliation Efforts” prepared by member of the Democracy and Youth Dialogue Forum Nourhan Al-Tabatabi, within the “PalThink Academy for Democracy and Human Rights” project, supported by the German Federal Foreign Office’s funds by ifa (Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen), Funding Programme zivik. The paper examines the reasons for the youth’s lack of political participation, especially in reconciliation efforts after they were the first to call for the end of the Palestinian division. It also presents a set of policies that would integrate young people and their energies into political life, and activate their role in decision-making and reconciliation.
